Why scores matter
A higher score can improve a student's chances.
Even when a college does not require test scores, a strong SAT or ACT result can give admissions teams objective evidence of readiness, strengthen scholarship applications, and give students more confidence as they enter college. Requirements are changing, and some states still require these tests. Every score improvement also adds to the story of student achievement at a local high school and in its community.

Why doesn't my school provide this for free?

Schools teach courses, build academic fundamentals, and support students through countless daily demands. ACT and SAT preparation is a separate, targeted need—one that some schools address by partnering with TPA for cost-effective enrichment students can engage with in a different way than traditional classroom instruction.

Does my student need to take the SAT or ACT?
Not necessarily. Start with the colleges, scholarships, programs, or plans your student is considering and check the current requirements that apply.
Why prepare if the school already educates my student?
School and test preparation do different jobs. TPA adds focused practice with the test format, pacing, strategies, and decisions students face on test day.
Why not use a library book or YouTube videos?
Those resources can help. TPA adds live questions, guided practice, expert feedback, and an engaging room where students can apply the ideas while they are learning them.
Is one day of preparation enough to make a difference?
The one-day program is designed to be useful on its own: students receive concentrated live instruction, guided practice, and a clearer next step. No score guarantee is implied.
Do we have to take the ten-week course?
No. Continued support is an optional extension for families who want more structure after the live day; the one-day program is designed to stand on its own.
How do I sign my student up?
Start with Find a Boot Camp, review the event details, and use the event-specific registration path. If no event is listed, contact the team or ask the school about bringing TPA to campus.
Can we sign up for only the online ten-week program?
A standalone online-only enrollment path has not been defined yet. The current program is built around the live day, with continued support as an optional follow-up.
